Yesterday, Yahoo News released a report saying that Kim and Kanye seemed distant at the VMAs. Below is how they reported it... There seemed to be a “diskonnect” between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West at the 2016 MTV VMAs. The power couple was the toast of the room last night - everyone wanted to take selfies with her or get him alone to hear one of his bizarre rants in person. But with all the behind-the-scenes cameras running on MTV.com, aka the best part of last night’s show, they seemed “on” when the spotlight was on them and “off” when it wasn’t. In their front row seats, the pair, who married in 2014, had their arms around one another and were even gazing into each other’s eyes. (Oh, Kanye, you genius you. Oh, Kim, you are the most beautiful woman on the planet.) Backstage though, they sat apart even though there were chairs side by side. They seemed far more into their phones than each other.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), during a night operation conducted  on Tuesday , successfully destroyed a new Boko Haram Terrorist (BHT) Camp located between Malam Fatori and Kangarwa in Northern Borno. The new camp is about 4-6km away from the BHT location attacked earlier on 20 August 2016 by NAF Mi-17 helicopter within the same vicinity in a similar night operation that led to the death of about 300 insurgents. The post-strike Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) mission had revealed that surviving BHTs converged at the new location. According to the Director, NAF Public Relations and Information, Group Captain Ayodele Famuyiwa, the information was later confirmed to be true by series of follow-up Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions that led to the latest strike. An Urhobo militant group known as the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Movement, NDGJM, has blown up the Ogor-Oteri major delivery line operated by the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company and Shorelines Petroleum in the state. The group in a statement released and signed by its leader, “Gen” Aldo Agbalaja, said they carried out the attack on the oil facility at about 3am. The group said they will also be launching “Operation Crocodile Tears” since the military had launched “Operation Crocodile Smile” to supposedly worsen the Niger Delta crisis. APC Rivers state chapter has accused the state government of being behind the murder of one the state party's legal representatives, Ken Atsuwete. One more trapped victim of the Gwarinpa Abuja building collapse has been found this afternoon with the continuation of search and rescue led by NEMA and FCT SEMA. Unfortunately, however, the victim was dead but his body was recovered after heavy duty equipment were used to remove rubble of the collapsed structure and NEMA team deployed specialized search camera underneath in searching for the trapped victims. On Monday, August 29th, six persons were rescued alive after the four-storey building collapsed at 444 Crescent, Citec Villa, while two persons were still remaining under the rubble. With the latest development, it is possible that only one more person may still be left under the debris and as the rescue continues, he soon be found, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said. In an effort to rubbish claims of abuse made by an ex, a millionaire has released a video footage which shows the woman hitting herself in a rage. Scott Mitchell, 45, was previously accused by ex, Mary Hunt, 29, of physical & psychological abuse, telling reporters she suffered a black eye at the hands of the Florida business man. but the video presented by Mitchell's lawyers seemingly shows Ms Hunt having a meltdown and beating herself up. The Florida businessman previously accused Miss Hunt of stealing $2.1million worth of jewellery from the safe in his massive mansion following their split last summer. Four men, including a 29-year-old Nigerian man faced court in Perth, Australia on Friday, 26 August 2016 for their alleged role in the importation of around 45.6 kilograms of methamphetamine concealed in timber logs. A joint investigation involving the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and Western Australia Police (WA Police) commenced in June after a sea cargo consignment containing timber logs arrived in Perth from Africa. An x-ray examination of the consignment by Australian Border Force (ABF) officers identified concealment within nine timber logs. ABF referred the matter to police, and a forensic examination was conducted. A total of 106 secreted packages containing around 45.6kgs of methamphetamine were detected. This amount of methamphetamine has an approximate street value of $45.6 million. The death of 35-year-old Nigerian social worker who died at a James Bond-themed swingers party after he told his friend he was attending an evening church service has been ruled as an accident on Thursday, August 25th, 2016 at Herts Coroner's Court. Edmund Echukwu, who was born in Nigeria and lived at Springwood Crescent in Edgware, attended the swingers party at Littlecroft on Theobald Street in Radlett but later died after he was pulled from the bottom of a swimming pool in the early hours of March 28 2015. The father of three told an organiser he had attended before but it was actually his first time. Richard Stanley and Janet Harrison, who own Radlett Parties, organise a monthly party at their home and Mr Echukwu had called on the Thursday (March 26) beforehand to enquire about attending. Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River yesterday said although he is a PDP member, he is in love with the style and ability of President Buhari. “I am in love with the style and ability of President Muhammadu Buhari as leader of Nigerians. The Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello was reportedly attacked by some aggrieved residents of the state today August 26th. According to multiple sources, the governor who had gone to the Lokoja Central Mosque to observe his Juma'at prayer, was attacked by some aggrieved residents who threw stones, rotten food and fruits at his convoy as it departed the mosque.   The residents say they are not happy with the manner in which the state governor is managing the affairs of the state. They say they are groaning in hardship and hunger as most of the civil servants had not been paid their salaries. 

The Enugu State Police Command in its resolve towards unmasking those behind the dastardly act perpetrated at Ndiagu Attakwu community of Akegbeugwu in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu state in the early hours of 25/8/16 which left one person dead and four others critically injured, have nabbed a suspect identified as one Umaru Isah from Gusau Zamfara state on 25/8/16 over his alleged involvement in the incident. A woman on Thursday, August 4th, delivered a set of quadruplets, 3 boys and one girl, during the just concluded 64th Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God held at the Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.  It was the first time in the history of the convention that a woman would give birth to quadruplets. In celebration of their birth, wife of the General Overseer, Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye has taken up full responsibility for the children. She has also provided a well-furnished two (2) bedroom flat in one of the estates on the Redemption Camp while plans are in place to secure a good job for the children’s father. A total of 67 children were born same Thursday, 40 are boys while 27 are girls. Pastor Enoch Adeboye describe the birth as unique.
