Army troops ambush Boko Haram Terrorists crossing into Sambisa Forest

In the early hours of today, Army troops ambushed Boko Haram terrorists crossing into Sambisa forest from Komala and Musafanari axis with logistics items. The Troops killed 2 Boko Haram terrorists, while 2 soldiers sustained gunshot wounds during the fight
The soldiers wounded have since been airlifted and are receiving treatment at a military medical facility. Items recovered from the terrorists include 2 AK-47 rifles, 4 AK-47 rifle magazines fully loaded, 25 litres of petrol, assorted food items, a motorcycle and 2 bicycles amongst other items. Communities Of Ogonis Gives Conditions For Resumption Of Oil Production.

The Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People (MOSOP) says it has given conditions for the resumption  of oil production in Ogoni land.  The leader of  MOSOP, Mr Fegalo Nsuke, at the group’s Congress and rally held  over the weekend at the Gokana Central Field in Bera, Ogoni, Rivers State,  said the Ogoni Bill of Rights  mandates  MOSOP to make “representations on behalf of the Ogoni people as long as injustices continues. Fegalo listed the injustice that lead to Ogoni struggle to include; absence of basic amenities – no roads, no water, no housing, no hospitals among others has continued to elude the people.
